Elizabeth Munro Design

Elizabeth Munro is the owner of a full-service interior design firm based in the Greater Toronto Area, most recognized for her clean, classic taste and impeccable style. This accredited Interior Designer has been a fixture in the residential design industry for well over a decade and is a long standing member of ARIDO and NCIDQ.

Elizabeth’s interior design philosophy takes a lifestyle-based approach, and each project is created in collaboration with the client to ensure every unique want and whim is addressed, from start to finish. The resulting spaces are functional, livable and totally inviting.

Elizabeth draws inspiration from near and far. Patterns, colours and textures from local sources and distant travels find their way into her various clients’ projects. Her respect for historical architectural integrity and neighbourhood charm ensures each design is fashion-forward while staying true to its roots.

Elizabeth and her team work with a roster of skilled and trusted trades, and quality suppliers that promise a project completed to the highest of standards. Big or small, each project is given the same attention to detail. The team’s overarching expertise and thoughtful approach bring their clients’ vision to life.

Elizabeth Munro is a fully accredited Interior Designer and is certified in Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED), ID+C.

Having a keen interest in the renovation/build process and many years working with clients, trades and suppliers, Elizabeth Munro Design works collaboratively with the client and trades to make the project an enjoyable experience. There are many moving parts to a design project and clients can become overwhelmed with the demands on their time for decision making and changes. Contractors/trades need to keep the process moving to complete the project on time and on budget and must address any issues quickly and effectively. With this insight, Elizabeth and her team work on fewer projects at one time and take a more active role in each design project. Elizabeth Munro Design is on site most days to address any issues that may come up and to solve them quickly while keeping the client up to date with the progress. The client has an advocate on-site looking out for their best interests throughout the project.
